Freesia is the flower of the aristocrats

2019-08-11 21:00:00

The wonderfully delicate, sophisticated and sophisticated freesia flowers fill the BouquetExpress with unique charm, lightness and sophistication, and their divine scent can drive everyone crazy. Freesia petals have a so-called "glass texture", which is manifested in the originality of color transitions and as if certain transparency. It is a magical attractiveness, external fragility and unique flower.
Initially, freesias grew only in warm Africa, and came to Europe only in the era of travel - in the 18th century. Freesia bouquets were very expensive because the flower was difficult to grow in cold climates. That's why he was called the flower of the aristocrats, because only very rich people could afford such a bouquet. However, gradually the florists brought out less whimsical and less thermophilic types of freesia, which is why in our time this flower is quite easy to buy in a flower salon.

 Freesia flower composition

The original floral arrangement of freesias, decorated with ornamental leaves, statics or eucalyptus, will be a wonderful gift and a wonderful addition to a wedding or evening dress. In addition, created by the hands of an experienced florist, it can be a great interior decoration or part of a banquet hall decor. Freesias blend well with other flowers, although many florists believe that these plants are good in themselves. Particularly delicate combination comes with lilies of the valley, tulips and hyacinths, and more strictly with roses or lilies of the valley. Surprisingly moving and unusual will be a bouquet in combination with sophisticated callas. They complement each other perfectly, creating a truly light, airy and gentle look. It is worth remembering that each variety of these colors has its own unique smell. For example, whites have the slightest aroma, violets have a sweeter aroma, and reds have a very pungent odor, so they are not recommended for people who are sensitive or allergic.

How to care for a bouquet of freesias
1. Trim the stems before placing them in water
2. Use only a clean vase
3. Change the water in the vase at least once every 2 days. Suitable tap water. And the vase should be washed too! It is possible without soap and means, just to wash
4. Do not place a vase near heating appliances and batteries
5. Do not leave it exposed to direct sunlight.

If the buttons in the composition are closed - not a problem. So you just brought some very fresh flowers :) Just wait a little while and they will open, you do not need to "help" them with your hands. The longest - the buds will open in 2 days. And most likely - in a couple of hours. The average resistance in a piece - 2 weeks. But with proper care, the life span can be extended to 3-4 weeks. These plants do not tolerate frost without additional warming.
