Since Soviet times, there has been a persistent stereotype in our country that carnation is a cheap funeral flower. And carnation is completely undeservedly underestimated by buyers. It's time to dispel this stereotype.

Now a huge variety of carnation varieties are grown on Dutch plantations, and some of them are comparable in value to rare exotic flowers. The main colors in which the carnation is supplied are: white, pink, red, lilac, purple, green, yellow. There are many more two-tone options. One of the most beautiful varieties is moon carnation, delightful lilac shades.

Carnation is just a chic option for wedding bouquets, especially if the wedding is planned in the heat or cold, and if the wedding program promises to be rich, and the bouquet will have to be without water for a long time.

Any flower can be elegantly presented, and carnation is no exception.

Carnation is a persistent flower, but it has its own characteristics:

- at air temperatures above +25 degrees, the life of a carnation is reduced to 3-5 days

- at temperatures below +8 degrees, the color of red and dark pink varieties changes: they turn blue from the cold.

Caring for cut cloves is no different from the standard:

- cut the stems obliquely by 1 cm, preferably above the internode;

- put the flowers in clean water and change it regularly, updating the sections of the stems.

The use of top dressing will extend the life of the carnations by at least a week.

With proper care, a carnation can please you for 3-4 weeks.
